What will you be doing?

You'll be an experienced project manager with exposure to technology related projects coupled with strong commercial acumen, communication, vendor management and stakeholder management skills.

You will also be well versed in project management methodologies/frameworks along with the ability to be proactive, flexible and efficient in ensuring project success.

Other responsibilities include:

• Ensure project objectives are clearly identified and documented
• Direct, manage and motivate the key stakeholders to manage the work and resources involved
• Manage risks and issues for early resolution minimising impact on project delivery
• Manage conflicts in a timely manner
• Build strong relationships through engagement with our lines of business (customers), colleagues, project managers and other key stakeholders
• Liaise and advise at the highest level of management including our Executive Committee

What makes a successful Project Manager?

You'll have experience in managing large and complex Business and IT projects successfully within a global corporate environment, ideally exposed to the development of business solutions with geographically dispersed delivery teams and stakeholders

Other skills and experience include:

• Demonstrated experience managing projects across diverse global business units with differing business cultures
• Ability to successfully manage projects across different time-zones with the need for a flexible working day
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate with project sponsors, vendors, clients and global stakeholders
• Formal project management methodology accreditation or certification (e.g. Prince 2, Waterfall, PMBOK)
• Demonstrated  project management experience and confidence to identify and apply required level of tailoring  of project methodology for each project
• Demonstrated understanding of information technologies such as the Software Development Life Cycle and configuration management concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and manage change
• Proven ability to effectively manage own time and priorities to meet deadlines
