What you do

As a Data Warehouse & BI Lead, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of a modern Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence architecture. Working closely with the Head of Revenue Assurance and Reporting you will formulate the architectural Road Map that will enable iSelect to maximise and exploit its data assets.

• Work closely with various business stakeholders, participate in the architecture, design and development of Enterprise Data Warehouse components, including Data Marts, Operational Data Stores, Staging Archival, OLAP Cubes, Master Data Repositories, and various Data Governance initiatives like Data Quality Firewall.
• Data Modelling for Enterprise Data Warehouse and Data Mart (Star Schema)
• Review database architectures and designs to ensure compliance with corporate objectives for data integrity, quality, performance, management, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Work with business stakeholders and business analysts to understand and translate user requirements into practical reporting solutions.Work across teams, have an end-to-end view of the reporting and analytical requirements of the business, developing solutions

What you need

• 5+ years of Information Technology experience with a strong focus on Relational databases, Multi-Dimensional databases, Data Modelling, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence
• Deep subject matter expertise on Data Warehouse principles and ETL design patterns
• Good architectural understanding of all Information Management components like; Relational Databases, ETL, Data Quality, Data Security etc.
• Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure, architecture, application development and support, networks, and computer operations
• Strong managerial experience in managing a team with both technical and business-focused members providing technical leadership to other developers and engineers, participate in building reports and dashboards to allow decision support, along with the technical documentation
• 7+ years' experience with database management systems, SQL/T-SQL and 5+ years experience with software development
• The ability to work in a fast paced, fluid, sometimes ambiguous environment
