The Role:
As our Digital Domain Architect your core function will be to transform business strategy into appropriate architectural and technology solutions. Reporting to the Lead Digital Architect you will work with Business and Technical teams to deliver Domain Roadmaps, End to End Solutions Designs and supporting documentation on both Tactical & Strategic programs. The Digital domain covers a wide area of News Corps online business including article and video content ingestion and delivery; mobile apps; audience profiling and ad targeting. As our Domain Architect you deliver strong technical leadership and solutions delivery within our digital environment. You will be bring an innovative approach including looking at changing industry trends to improve platforms like incorporate advances in automation, machine learning and web scale performance techniques. You will be a technical leader, facilitating design and delivery across a high performing team of engineers on some of Australia’s highest traffic media sites.
The Person:
As our Domain Architect you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrable experience providing technical solutions for high-volume, cloud-based architectures with knowledge of AWS, GCP and Akamai highly regarded.
- Experience of content delivery platforms across Web, Video and Native Applications with knowledge of CMS and DAM platforms like Wordpress and Brightcove highly regarded.
- Exposure to data engineering and learning platforms for content classification and audience segmentation will be highly regarded.
- An ability to contribute via technical prototypes and hands-on investigation
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Strong stakeholder management, leadership skills & communication skills
- Ability to operate in a fast moving, dynamic and innovative team
