One of our large retail clients is looking for an Agile Project Manager with strong Scrum Master skills.
This is a 6 month contract with possible extensions as this role is a part of a huge multi-year transformation program and there are high chances of this contract to get extended. 
Role Purpose:
This role will be responsible for delivering project outcomes using Agile and SAP Activate methodologies, and in line with client's methods and procedures. The role will report to the Technology and Platform Program Manager.
Responsibilities: 

• Manage scope, timelines and dependencies
• Facilitate/participate in key Agile rituals across Scrum teams
• Coach team members as needed, including resolving conflict..
• Communicate project risks to stream leads and ensure risks, issues and dependencies are effectively monitored and managed.
• Manage projects in JIRA; providing software training to team members as needed
• Monitor and report on key Agile performance metrics
• Assist in training team members on Agile concepts
• Foster and model a collaborative team environment
• Build and develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Qualification:

• Post graduate IT qualification
• PMP/Prince2/Scrum Master certification, good to have but not essential

Experience: 
Essential:

• 5+ years of experience as a software development Project Manager using agile concepts and methodologies

Desirable:

• SAP implementation or upgrade project experience -  particularly HR, Security, Merchandising, Supply Chain and Financials.
• Experience in Retail and Merchandising software project implementations across multiple sectors.

Knowledge and Skills: 
Essential:

• MS Project, Jira and SharePoint.
• Proven leadership and motivation skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience using Agile performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement
• Can maintain a high level of energy and engagement
