Reporting to the Business Transformation Manager, the Business Analysts – Projects will focus on the delivery of projects and transformational initiatives and will play a major role in the execution of the Credit Union’s strategic change program.

The key responsibilities of these roles will include but not be limited to the following:

• Gathering, defining, analysing, translating and simplifying business requirements.
• Identifying, assessing and recommending appropriate technology and business solutions.
• Liaising with suppliers and vendors, including overseeing competitive tenders as required.
• Developing and presenting business cases and financial models to support change activities.
• Leading process design workshops, researching processes and managing process change.
• Proactively identifying opportunities to automate and simplify operational activities.
• Recommending tools and technologies to improve operational efficiency.
• Preparing and presenting system, technical and process documentation.
• Designing, implementing and facilitating user acceptance testing.
• Identifying innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Assisting Project Managers to plan and implement change activity.
• Assisting in building internal change capability and organisational resilience. 

These roles will be required to operate with a moderate degree of independence within the approved project framework and with guidance from the Business Transformation Manager. Working simultaneously on multiple projects and workstreams of different levels of complexity will also be a requirement of this role.

The successful candidates will need to possess the following: 

• Advanced process transformation skills and solid understanding of lean and/or human-centred design principles. 
• Knowledge of contemporary business process improvement methodologies, technologies and tools.
• Advanced analytical skills and the ability to deconstruct complex business practices.
• Proven history of successfully implementing new systems and technologies.
• Superior ability to understand and deconstruct complex business processes.
• Advanced time management skills and an ability to simultaneously support multiple projects.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Ability to influence and lead change at all levels.

We’re looking for individuals with solid experience in a Business Analyst role along with a proven history of successfully working across a complex program of strategic change activities impacting systems, people and processes.

A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline would be highly desirable for this role as would a high level of confidence and drive to succeed in ensuring the Credit Union continues to embrace leading-edge digital systems and technologies.
