About the role

Based in Sydney CBD our client requires an experienced SAS Developer to work on exciting projects in a leading banking and finance institution. 
 
Essential

• Sound understanding of SAS 9.3+
• 5+ years of hands-on expertise in writing, debugging SAS code.
• Working knowledge of SAS9.x environments , Unix, SQL scripting on Oracle/Teradata database.
• Hands-on expertise in SAS DI Studio 4.9+, SAS Management Console, SAS Enterprise Guide 5.1+, SAS Macro programming
• Hands-on experience in developing and supporting SAS mid-tier applications
• Hands-on expertise in handling large volumes of data in Oracle databases and SAS datasets.
• Experience using source version controls, CI/CD tool sets.
• Experience working in technology enabled programs and projects.
• Experience working in SDLC, Waterfall/Agile methodologies.

  
Desirable

• Experience working in banking industry is desirable.
• Experience in supporting SAS mid-tier components
• Experience in SAS ARM macros, any enterprise class automation/scheduling tools
• Experience working on Financial crimes detection systems, SAS/AML 6.3+ is desirable.
