Service and Dispatch Coordinator

Telstra Business Centre - North West NSW

Full Time Position - Tamworth Based

We are a progressive, locally owned Telstra Business Centre servicing customers in North West NSW who seek a self-motivated Service and Dispatch Coordinator to join our expanding Technical Operations Team. 

Reporting to the ICT Manager, you will work in a team environment to support customers requesting support via phone and email enquiries. You will support all our customers from mobile antenna and car kit enquires to Phone Systems and IT support.  This varied role will involve maintaining customer relationships and standards of service while completing daily tasks and ensuring effective communication between all key stakeholders.

 Typical Tasks would include (but not limited to):

  • Triaging all customer enquires (both phone and email enquires), displaying excellence in customer service and efficiency
  • Creation and management of tickets through our Job Management Systems
  • Dispatching the correct technician, ensuring the job is completed within SLA and the customer relationship is maintained.
  • Working in conjunction with the Inventory Manager to ensure all relevant parts are ready for each job to be completed
  • Assist with ad hoc administration tasks as requested by the ICT Manager
  • Provide Customer updates on tickets when required
  • Develop knowledge of our Managed IT Clients business model and requirements
  • Maintain Job Management System databases to ensure accurate and current
  • Coordinate, analyse and improve customer service functions to meet company goals.

  • Have the ability to succinctly uncover all the relevant information required to get the job to the correct team or individual for action
  • You will have experience with Service Level Agreements (SLA) or deadline driven environments
  • Have a desire to drive efficiencies within the technical department with a high attention to detail
  • Aspire to continually learn and develop your skill set and learn new tasks and systems quickly with a keen interest in technology
  • Have superior time management skills and the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
  • You will have proven analytical and problem solving skills
  • You must be punctual, well-groomed and well spoken, ready to represent a highly respected local business
  • You will have database and data entry experience, with strong MS Office and Excel skills.
  • Standard working hours would be between 7:30am til 4pm, Monday to Friday, however flexibility is essential in this role
  • Experience in a reception or dispatch role is highly regarded
