For our client, a multinational and growing organization in the financial services industry, Randstad Technologies is currently seeking a Head of Information Security & Risk. This is a permanent role in which you will re-shape the organisation's security strategy and inherit a high-performing team of security experts, as well as have the opportunity to grow that team.

Reporting directly to the CIO, this role is accountable for developing, delivering and operating a comprehensive information security and IT compliance program for the organization, providing line management, leadership and strategic direction for the organisation's information security needs and liaising closely with other managers.

This role could suit a senior Security Professional that has leadership experience and is looking to take the step up. We are looking to speak to motivated and hungry candidates that have aspirations to progress in their career and potentially work towards becoming a CISO, but may not have the opportunity to do so in their current organization.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance of a team of 6 Security SMEs
• Serve as the primary information security consultant to the organisation
• Coordinate the development and delivery of an education and training program on information security matters for associates and other relevant 3rd parties
• Lead the implementation and dissemination of policies, standards and procedures to the wider organisation
• Perform information security risk assessments and serves as an internal auditor for security issues

Required experience and skills:

• Proven experience in leading a team
• A solid technical understanding of the security space
• Experience working in a fast-paced work environment
• Working knowledge of and experience in the policy and regulatory environment of information security
• Strong familiarity with Information Security concepts, practices, and solutions
• Working knowledge of and experience in the policy and regulatory environment of information security
• In depth knowledge of IT concepts, strategies and methodologies and their application to business opportunities
• High level of self motivation and ability to work autonomously
