Your new company
Your new company is a Federal Government agency currently seeking the experience of a Service Desk Team Lead.

Your new role
Your new role lead a business analytics service desk level 2 team that specialise in SAP and CRM. You will be supporting a large user base for their technical issues with financial systems. The role requires daily duties such as; following ITIL procedures, logging, resolving and escalating jobs and tickets, handling critical incidents, managing a mid-sized team, as well as data analytics via the use of excel. You may also be responsible for staff meetings, rostering, training and mentoring.

What you'll need to succeed
They key to your success will be your experience with technologies such as; SAP, CRM, HP Service Manager and Microsoft Office Suites (Excel) as well as your strong managerial experience in the areas below;
Management and leadership of small technical teams;

  • Developing junior staff in generating practical solutions to problems based on an understanding of the broader context of issues;
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to meeting agreed work targets and standards;
  • Demonstrate strong investigative and problem-solving skills;
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills, in order to liaise with internal staff and customers to investigate problems;
  • Have an eagerness and ability to absorb large volumes of information, and continue to stay up to date with constant system releases and changes.
You will also have strong customer service skills and a drive to lead a technical environment.
