A career changing opportunity has arisen to join our Program Management Office in the role of Manager, Program Delivery, located in our newly built state-of-the-art National Head Office. This influential role reports to the Head of Digital and Transformation Program and is a valuable member of, and contributor to the achievement of the organisation’s vision, its strategic objectives and goals.
About the role
Responsible for the effective management and oversight of the project delivery team, key areas of responsibility include:
- Developing capabilities and quality including the leadership, coaching and mentoring of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers and Scrum Masters;
- Assuring project delivery activity as well as management of project delivery escalations and feedback with the project delivery team;
- Owning delivery remediation plans with project delivery team members to completion;
- Owning the project delivery resource pool and skills matrix in order to assign the right project delivery resource to projects based on demand, project type and project methodology (e.g. Agile); and
- Ongoing review of Project Management processes in line with business-wide transformation and enterprise agile capability uplift.
To be successful in this role
As a leader within our business it is important that you can demonstrate outstanding communication skills coupled with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships. You will have proven experience as a lead Project Manager with the ability to work across multiple contemporary program and project management methodologies, techniques and planning tools, including project governance.
Relevant qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline will be considered essential. In addition, a qualification in project management or equivalent skills and knowledge gained through relevant experience will be a requirement for this role.
