You'll be responsible for not only providing support to many business customer, but will be involved in new project work, liaising with vendors and implementing cutting edge voice technology solutions for this Telco 

Technically you'll be well versed in the following: 

• Heavily experienced in the VoIP world.
• Voice technical support desk experience.
• Can read, understand and communicate about SIP, SCCP, PCAP trace.
• Excellent in diagnosing VoIP faults, including call & fax failure, troubleshooting voice quality, endpoint registration & authentication issues.
• Hands-on experience in configuring Asterisk based PBX, FreeSWITCH and all types of IP phones.
• Proficient in Linux/Unix based OS.
• Cisco CCNA qualification will be viewed favourably.

About you:

An all-rounder who enjoys field/site and office/phone based technical support work in equal measure

• Australian/NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Pays attention to detail and is highly analytical.
• Is a team player and enjoys working in a team and as an autonomous worker.
• Is highly skilled in dealing with customers face to face, over the phone and in writing.
• Easily able to explain complex concepts in simple plain language and is efficient and effective in the role.
