We are a leading Perth based technology consultancy and due to a large upcoming project with one of out key Government clients we are looking to hire an experienced SQL Server DBA. We are seeking a senior professional with a deep and broad understanding of data architecture, design, deployment and support

Background & Experience Required:

• Min 8 years as a SQL Server DBA
• Good Architecture and modelling experience
• Experience with installation, performance optimisation and support of SQL 2008R2, 2012 and 2014
• Experience with SQL Backup / Restore full / incremental / differential
• Experience with DOS batch and PowerShell scripting
• Experience with large database migration and database upgrades
• Ensure user access, data integrity, application security and system recoverability of SQL environments
• Experience with SQL Clustering 
• Experience with SQL backup tuning, maintenance plans and disaster recovery.
• Experience managing database/server security and user access
• Any knowledge of SSIS and SSRS highly regarded.
• Ability to perform service pack and update installations
• Excellent communication and rapport building skills
• An outgoing personality and sense of humour.
