We currently seek an experienced, business focused and results driven Enterprise Architect to develop and own the technology vision, roadmap and architecture for the Fuels and Infrastructure business within Caltex, and contribute to the development of the technology strategy, opportunity identification, initiative planning and prioritisation.
Reporting to the Head of IT Architecture, in this role you will:

  • Provide ongoing analysis of current and emerging technology and identify opportunities, relevance and value add to the Caltex Fuels and Infrastructure IT Platform.
  • Ensure all IT Solutions remain customer centric, yet deliver operational design efficiencies.
  • Collaborate to define, develop and ensure governance across Fuels and Infrastructure IT Architecture.
  • Develop and maintain the IT Technology roadmap and strategic vision for the Fuels and Infrastructure business ensuring the divisional strategy is aligned with Caltex Enterprise.
  • Provide a holistic view of the current and future direction of the divisional Business and IT environment and the initiatives required to achieve future state.
  • Contribute to and support the ongoing development of Enterprise IT Architecture through the continuous improvement of key principles, reference architectures, technology strategies, standards and practices.
  • Support the governance of Enterprise IT Architecture through the definition of methods, models and tools that describe the organisations current and future state, and enable its evolution.

To be successful in this role, you have Tertiary Qualifications and Certified ITIL v3 Foundation. You demonstrate excellent understanding of business strategy and commercial acumen, and a proven ability to translate business strategic requirements to technology capabilities. As a superior communicator you are able to communicate complex issues across a broad group of senior stakeholders. You have a proven ability to define complex and innovative technical solutions to business problems. Ideally you bring experience gained in the Oils and Gas industry, systems such as SAP/ERP, Refinery, Energy/Commodity Trading and Risk Management (ETRM/CTRM) applications, FuelCard Management systems, and Salesforce (CRM) within commodity or energy business.
