About the role

Mater Digital Technology & Information (DTI) currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Specialist - IT Infrastructure to join the team in a full time and fixed term (7 months) opportunity and based at our South Brisbane campus.

The Senior Systems Specialist role contributes as part of a team responsible for providing advice and support of IT infrastructure used across Mater Group. This role has subject matter expertise to ensure maintenance, support, problem solving, and continuous improvement are managed in a timely and customer focused manner to meet business needs. You will engage with Mater business teams and leaders, as well as vendors and third parties to maintain effective working relationships.

This role will assist in mentoring and supervising team members at an operational level in the integrated operation of complex enterprise infrastructure to achieve defined service levels and will provide assistance to other business area solutions as part of a multi skilled team

Salary range: $48.95-$52.43 (MCA6) per hour plus superannuation

About you

To be successful in this role you will have worked in a similar role within the healthcare industry and also possess the following essential criteria:

• Expert knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and Exchange
• Demonstrated success in IT systems implementation and IT Infrastructure project technical leadership
• Ability to demonstrate understanding of ITIL principles and the application in an operational environment.

Experience with Software Asset Management (deployment and ongoing management), enterprise level backup software, and Citrix would be highly regarded.
