LANSA’s R&D team is responsible for the development and maintenance of its award winning Rapid Application Development and Application Integration tools (www.lansa.com).
We are one of the top two or three Australian owned developers and exporters of software. LANSA supports over 7,000 customers in more than 60 countries and has over 300 Business Partners worldwide.
THE ROLE
- Global ownership of all LANSA’s Customer Education assets (e-Learning, Tutorials, Tech Blogs, Videos, Samples & Examples, …)
- Managing the creation of all LANSA’s e-Learning Materials
- Creating a rolling 12-month Customer Education Course Development Plan
- Gaining consensus from all stakeholders about delivery medium and duration for each training module
- Leading the diverse team of Education Course developers across the world
- Learning and mastering Visual LANSA (if not already proficient)
- Writing Sample Applications using Visual LANSA
- Creating Education Course modules as part of the development team
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Demonstrable experience in leading successful IT Projects
- Extensive programming skills preferably in Java, JavaScript and/or C#
- Previous experience in Course development
- Proficiency with a range of development tools used to produce online education
DESIRED SKILLS
- Up-to-date understanding of recent trends in online learning (e-Learning, videos, etc)
- The ability to say and mean that “If I don’t know how to do it, then I’ll learn”.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills as the role will involve talking with all stakeholders, especially customers
- Good command of the English language and English grammar
- Willingness to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work as a team member and to effectively contribute to team-based activities.
