Smartvisit are leaders in the development and operation of innovative technology led prepaid and loyalty products and services.

The Smartvisit Operations Team provides day to day support and fulfilment of products for the tourism, leisure and hotel industries.

We are seeking an Operations Support Person to provide assistance with operational aspects of the business on a Full-Time basis. In addition to standard weekly hours, flexibility will be required to work weekends and some Public Holiday’s during the year.

The successful applicant will be passionate about providing excellent phone and email support, will enjoy working in a small team environment and have a “can-do” attitude.  Applicants should also be highly competent with technology as well as possess good time-management and problem-solving skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as required:

  • Provide client support and issue resolution via E-Mail, phone and other electronic mediums as required.
  • Obtain a general understanding of Smartvisit systems, applications and operations related to company offered services.
  • Client product and customer order fulfilment.
  • Loading/Staging Smartvisit proprietary software and hardware for Client use.
  • Document User Guides and provide operational training and ongoing support post deployment to clients in the use of Smartvisit systems and applications via E-Mail, phone and/or face to face.
  • Review and comprehend business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Liaising with Technology team and Client management team recommending solutions for discovered issues and adaptation of existing programs to meet users' requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with each member to Smartvisit to assist in the general development and operation of the business.
  • Manage operational deployment to new clients, including engaging key clients to ensure deliverables are met on time.
  • Domestic and international travel to Smartvisit operating regions as needed. 

The Ideal candidate will also possess the following skills:

  • Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications.
  • Self motivated, detail-oriented and organised.
  • Experienced with hardware and software issues/support.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organisational, and presentation skills.
  • Tourism, travel or hospitality experience highly regarded
