The Catholic Diocese of Lismore is seeking an ICT & Audio Visual (AV) Helpdesk Officer to be part of a small team to deliver 1st level support and services across multiple sites in the administrative, health & aged care sectors.

We are looking for a client focused, self-starter with a high level of energy, passion and determination to help deliver technology outcomes in a team lead by the Information Communication Technology Manager. 

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Providing 1st level ICT and AV support in person, over the phone and remotely
  • Logging, monitoring and tracking all incidents and service requests into the call tracking system
  • Proactively follow up with queries to ensure they are resolved
  • Undertaking installation and troubleshooting for hardware, operating systems and desktop applications
  • Performing daily routine checks and functions
  • Assisting with the rollout and upgrade of desktop computer systems and applications 
  • Making routine changes and additions within Active Directory 
  • Organising and assisting all internal and external clients with their AV requirements
  • Ensuring ICT & AV equipment is maintained, serviced and operational
  • Engaging with key stakeholders on a daily basis
  • Providing routine and ad hoc reports on performance of the Service Desk

The successful applicant will need to have:

  • Experience in Help Desk support - preferably in a corporate environment or alternatively event space paired with competent IT and AV skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills indicating a customer-centric approach
  • Excellent troubleshooting and fault resolution skills
  • Proven experience as a self-driven individual who can work productively in a team environment
  • Exposure to Video Conferencing technologies
  • Exposure with Windows Active Directory
  • Understanding of Audio Visual Systems including: Crestron, AMX and Vantage
  • Understanding of ITIL and ISMS principles
