The Catholic Diocese of Lismore is seeking an ICT & Audio Visual (AV) Helpdesk Officer to be part of a small team to deliver 1st level support and services across multiple sites in the administrative, health & aged care sectors.
We are looking for a client focused, self-starter with a high level of energy, passion and determination to help deliver technology outcomes in a team lead by the Information Communication Technology Manager.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Providing 1st level ICT and AV support in person, over the phone and remotely
- Logging, monitoring and tracking all incidents and service requests into the call tracking system
- Proactively follow up with queries to ensure they are resolved
- Undertaking installation and troubleshooting for hardware, operating systems and desktop applications
- Performing daily routine checks and functions
- Assisting with the rollout and upgrade of desktop computer systems and applications
- Making routine changes and additions within Active Directory
- Organising and assisting all internal and external clients with their AV requirements
- Ensuring ICT & AV equipment is maintained, serviced and operational
- Engaging with key stakeholders on a daily basis
- Providing routine and ad hoc reports on performance of the Service Desk
The successful applicant will need to have:
- Experience in Help Desk support - preferably in a corporate environment or alternatively event space paired with competent IT and AV skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills indicating a customer-centric approach
- Excellent troubleshooting and fault resolution skills
- Proven experience as a self-driven individual who can work productively in a team environment
- Exposure to Video Conferencing technologies
- Exposure with Windows Active Directory
- Understanding of Audio Visual Systems including: Crestron, AMX and Vantage
- Understanding of ITIL and ISMS principles
