We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer (Networks) to join our team in Perth and drive our strategies for cyber secure high availability, high performance communication systems.

The Senior Project Engineer (Networks) with specialisations in Operational Technology (OT) Network Administration, Monitoring, Diagnostics, Analysis and Design, will be working from within the Woodside Program covering all Network Services for all projects and services provided through the Honeywell Assurance 360 Programs.  The Senior Project Engineer will provide cyber secure designs and administrative oversight to the Honeywell A360 Program on all OT platforms and systems networks under the programs remit.

This exciting role will also provide monitoring and configuration of Next Generation Firewalls on the relevant OT Networks and their networked appliances. The initial focus will be on Network Administration & Monitoring Services and will expand into cyber secure network design, appliance selection, including developing processes and procedures.

As part of the role, planned well in advance, there will be site travel to remote locations, which will include offshore and onshore gas facilities.  The role also requires consulting on best practice industrial network design and product selection.  As a lead, there will be a need to support small, medium and large projects from time to time.

Key Areas of Responsibility;

• Responsible for delivery of OT Networks Systems Diagnostics, Monitoring and Maintenance.
• Implementation of Industrial Network Management best practices on all Operational Technologies under Honeywell’s remit.
• Implement Networking aspects of Process Control Systems projects with constant improvement of design and implementation of automated processes.
• Configuration of System and Network Security Technology, Firewalls
• Customer reporting, measuring KPI’s and meeting planned contract requirements.
• Familiarity with wide variety of industrial network appliances and applications as applicable to control systems and control system networks.  

This position requires an Engineering or Computer Science Degree as well as experience in working around and on Operational Technologies, setting up and maintaining Networks using your in-depth knowledge of Network best practices in industrial & control equipment.
