About Us

Workfast is a high-growth labour hire company started in 2016 and a 2018 Startup Superstar Finalist (NSW Business Chamber). Workfast has an amazing team culture with an easy going office and no dress code. We also do regular team lunches and events. Career progression is endless and our team is incredibly supportive of each other.

You can work remotely up to 3 days a week (or work all days in the office if you prefer). Start and end times are flexible and family friendly with Friday afternoons off. You will also have a dedicated professional development budget.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, maintain and improve software and systems

• Work closely with the team to understand requirements and priorities

• Design and implement solutions

• Continuously improve the team’s development process

Technical Skills

Required

• Minimum 3 years Javascript experience

• Minimum 1 year React experience

• Experience with TDD, unit testing and CI/CD

• Contributions to GitHub projects, StackOverflow, open source project or hobbyist project (or equivalent)

Desirable

• A keen eye for design and UX/UI

• Experience with back-end development (especially Node)

• Experience with Functional Programming (FP)

• Significant contributions to one or more projects that have been commercially successful

• Computer Science/Engineering degree or equivalent
