IT Service Desk Analyst, Large Construction Company, Permanent Role, CBD Location, $60,000 - $70,000

Your new company
This company is a large Australian construction firm who are extremely modern and innovative with their approach to business. They are currently seeking an outgoing customer focused IT Level 1 Service Desk Analyst to provide face to face technical support to the members of the organisation and be based at their head office in Sydney CBD.

Your new role
This role requires floor walking support, which will be a lot of face to face Desktop Support in a Windows based environment, as well as cover from time to time on their own version of the Genius bar for laptops and other peripheral devices. The role will expose you to a variety of technologies, both hardware and software, and will require a strong understanding of IT fundamentals to help diagnose and resolve, or escalate the issue to the right team.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have 2+ years’ experience in a user facing Desktop Support role. You will be a fun and energetic character who can build fantastic relationships with the staff in your department. You will be an excellent communicator who actively seeks work and can deliver what is promised. There will also be remote support to those users who decide to work from home at parts of the day. You will attend regular Connect team meetings to provide feedback to the customer service and improvement manager on reoccurring issues, service improvements and any other matters arising.

You will have experience with:

  • Microsoft Exchange
  • SharePoint
  • Active Directory
  • SQL
  • Windows 7 & 10, Windows Server
  • Skype for business
  • VPN access
  • WiFi setup
  • Ipad & Laptop knowledge
  • Knowledge of printers/AV equipment.
