Field Services Technician - Mackay Location - Great company

Great client currently going through a major IT refresh has an opening for an Junior IT Desk Top Support Engineer to work as a Field Service Engineer for them. You will be responsible for the support of IT infrastructure and services at their rail terminals, depots, maintenance facilities and head offices in Australia
  
The type of person needed will have to be intelligent and able to think fast on their feet and have a natural ability to not only solve problems but thrive on it. What my client is ideally looking for is the following.

• 3+ years in an operational infrastructure/hardware support environment (transport, logistics or manufacturing experience preferred but not essential but ideally more blue collar industries)
• 3+ years’ experience in a technical infrastructure role (e.g. network support engineer)
• Passion for Customer Service
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong technical Documentation skills
• Project Management experience
• Preferred: Experience in support IT end user devices (e.g. laptops, printer, phones, etc.)
• Proven ability to work in a remote teams
