We are looking for a C++ developer who can work from high-level business requirements independently and can deliver robust solutions that the trading business can rely on for the delivery of accurate real-time reports 24/7. Working closely with traders and other software engineers on a daily basis when developing and operating a risk management system.
This is an opportunity to work on greenfield projects using the latest open-source technology as part of a highly-skilled and motivated software engineering team.
Responsibilities:
• Extend the functionality of our centralised order and trade capture system.
• Design and code web-based trading systems in Python
• Work with the risk management team on requirements analysis, implementation and deployment of automated or one-off trade reports.
Mandatory skills:
• User-level Linux experience
• Strong database design and SQL skills, including stored procedures
• Strong scripting skills on C++
• .NET - 5+ years
• Web development experience
• Experience with developing and operating real-time, mission-critical systems
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, good team player
• Enjoys taking ownership and responsibility
