A new opportunity exists in Sydney's west for an experienced PROGRESS Develope for a 12 month contract.
Our client is looking for a Progress Developer with OpenEdge experience to join their team and provide application development and support of their software suite.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- At least 5 years Progress/OpenEdge Programming experience in V9 or 10 GUI environments
- Experience in Approver, AppBuilder, OpenEdge Architect and Roundtable
- Good conception abilities, attention to detail, eye for design and high level commitment to quality
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Self motivated
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Friendly professional work ethics
- Work well in a team environment
- Be passionate about the quality of your work and ownership of assigned tasks
- Ability to quickly adapt to new tasks and work on several projects concurrently
In addition to this, it would be desirable to have one or more of the following:
- Interfacing with third party systems using XML
- Some experience with Sonic ESB
- Experience in ERP systems
