The opportunity

You will be part of a high performing national team where you will be involved in the analysis and development of both large and small software changes to one of the bank's largest trading platforms.
Responsibilities will include:
- Translating requirements to technical solutions as they relate to the platform
- Developing high quality software
- Supporting change through the SDLC all the way to production
- Supporting other team members to ensure high quality software is delivered into production
- Improving overall software development processes to allow the team to deliver more, faster & to a higher level of quality
- Technical oversight of junior developers
To be considered you will have:
- Demonstrated development experience in Java, C++ or C#
- Financial services experience - investment banking domain
- Large vendor platform integration & customisation experience
- Experience working with a trading platform highly desirable - knowledge of Murex advantageous
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- SQL and scripting in a Unix environment
