This role will work in a compact and highly specialized team of Data Engineers and Scientists and deliver some amazing projects in Big Data Engineering and Advanced Analytics for a media giant. You will be trusted to do the job on your own, no micro-management and a very supportive team. 

Skills & Experience required:

• 3+ years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer working on SQL Server stack (SSIS / SSRS AND SSAS) using reporting tool Tableau
• Experience with the following technologies will be highly regarded: R, Python, Data manipulation, Data mining, Spark, Scala, Big data technologies (MapR, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, etc). 
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing and BI concepts, Kimball methodologies, and developing highly complex data flows
• You love developing yourself and keep yourself updated with what's new in the Data Engineering and make efforts to learn them and grow.
• You have strong statistical/mathematics or very strong software engineering background and you love finding value through data and what it can do. You like helping teams make sense of all the data. 
• You understand business case and love to be involved in strategic discussions with different stakeholders.
