Join our global technology delivery team to help us deliver an exciting roadmap to enhance a document digitisation application.
As an enthusiastic and talented hand-on DevOps team leave with technical skills in T-SQL and .NET, you will work across a roadmap with projects including implementation of a new RESTful service in Microsoft .NET Core, leveraging AI and OCR technology.
You will be working with the Platform Manager and a globally distributed team in an agile environment with end-to-end platform responsibilities. You will ensure high quality solutions, security and operational requirements are met, and provide guidance and mentorship to other members of the team. We are looking for you to bring your ability to identify automation and architecture simplification, as well as deploy, automate and maintain cloud-based solutions. You will design and execute migration from stored procedures to rest based API for consumer data consumption, and lead and execute an effort to move to CI/CD to leverage the existing Cloud platform.
To our team, you will bring:
- in-depth knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, Sybase)
- development of T-SQL stored procedures (at least 3 years) on SQL Server or Sybase
- SQL Server Knowledge Including SSRS
- experience developing in the .NET Framework
- ability to work well under pressure
- ability to work in a distributed team environment
- strong communication skills
- a tertiary education in technology preferable
- prior experience with financial systems is preferable
- experience building RESTful services is preferable.
Ideally you will be proficient in the following:
- language: C#, MS-SQL, Sybase
- framework: .NET, WebAPI (RESTful services)
- development environment: Windows 7, Visual Studio, Git
- development methodologies and tools: JIRA, Stash, Confluence
- infrastructure: Windows Server
- database: MS-SQL, Sybase.
