THE COMPANY:
This company is a Property Management firm employing 450 staff in 15 sites across in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and the ACT.
THE ROLE:
As the Network Administrator you’ll be responsible for managing network connectivity between 15 sites across Australia.
You’ll also be involved in overflow Desktop Support / IT Support from the End User Services team as needed.
Key elements of the role include:
- Owning company network across 15 sites, ensuring availability + integrating new sites into the network as needed.
- Managing WAN / LAN / VPN
- Configuring routers, switches, wireless and firewalls
- Overflow IT support as needed
- Vendor management (including 3rd party MSP’s)
- End-to-end delivery of IT projects
The technical environment includes:
- Cisco routing & switching (configuration & management)
- Cisco Meraki
- WAN / LAN/ VLAN / VPN / QoS
- Windows 7 / 10 Desktop environment
- MS Server 2012 / 2016
- Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS)
- Office 365
ARE YOU SUITABLE:
Suitable for an IT Generalist with strong networking knowledge & experience inside a mid-sized yet complex business with a multi-site network.
The following is required:
- Hands on experience configuring & managing Cisco routers & switches
- Experience managing a multi-site network.
- Good knowledge across LAN/WAN, VPN, QoS
- Experience supporting Microsoft Desktop environments.
- Comfortable providing level 1-3 IT support
- A warm, friendly and approachable personality who enjoys helping people
This is a full time permanent role located in Sydney’s Inner West and is offering $80,000 - 100,000 (plus super) - depending on experience.
