Our high profile client is urgently seeking a Network Professional to join their existing team. The successful candidate will need to be a self-starter with excellent technical ability and communication skills. This will be for an initial 12 month contract period but is expected to have rolling extensions as the client has an abundance of work.   
 

Skills and Experience Required:

• Circa 8-10 years of similar experience
• Excellent network planning, troubleshooting and implementation skills
• Experience working on large scale network upgrade projects
• Ability to understand customers' needs and coordinate network and system operations, maintenance and repairs
• Experience in implementing network and routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF, IGRP, EIGRP, BGP
• Good knowledge of Firewalls and other security measures
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (computer science, engineer etc.)
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification
• Ability to produce technical documentation
• Solutions driven with strong problem solving and incident management skills
• Ideally previous experience in a FIFO role
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills
