We’re searching for an Agile Release Manager to manage the Digital and IP Video release trains for all of the persistent scrum teams, the Rapid teams, IP Video application and infrastructure teams. 

The Release trains include deliverables for websites, IP Video applications and infrastructure with new features and functionality as well as continuous improvement of platform capability. 

Your purpose

• Identify and coordinate dependencies between digital scrum teams, IP video infrastructure and IP Video Applications
• Manage release trains to ensure seamless delivery of release events for deployments to test environments and production
• Develop and embed a framework for release management to ensure consistency between teams for the management and coordination of release events
• Manage production deployments for digital and IP Video releases
• Act as a single point of contact for digital and IP video releases that involve multiple teams and ensure change control processes are adhered to in preparation for releases
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure adequate visibility of production changes and ensure that communications plans and support plans are in place and understood
• Facilitate Post Implementation Reviews for unsuccessful or problematic releases
• Facilitate and manage the Release Management Guild to ensure release planning is conducted and release management practices at Foxtel are continuously improved
• Ensure handover documentation is provided in accordance with requirements specified by the application support teams
• Manage, update and maintain the digital and IP video release calendar
• Provide input for portfolio planning meetings
• Provide backfill for Scrum Masters when on leave

Your capability

• Well practiced thorough understanding of Agile Scrum methodology
• Experience in Digital and IP Video Release Train management
• Sound stakeholder management skills
• Effective communication skills
• Efficient and organised
• Ability to manage a collaborative release train approach to ensure stakeholder expectations are met or exceeded
• Previous Release Train management and scrum master experience in a Digital environment
• Experience working within a large, complex, matrixed environment
• Agile Scrum Master certification
• Agile Release Manager qualifications
