About the Role 
Reporting to the Head of IT Operations, the Infrastructure Program Manager will play a pivotal role providing project management, vendor engagement and thought leadership across our IT landscape.  The role requires an enterprise view that requires extensive engagement across a number of IT teams as well as business stakeholders so strong leadership and communication skills are essential.  You will be required to demonstrate the value of IT to the wider business.

You will be recognised as a trusted adviser in the area of Information Technology, provide on-going operational support to the business and support senior management.  be responsible for the planning, execution and successful delivery of major infrastructure projects with the group and ensuring our key vendors offer value to the organisation.

The role requires extensive stakeholder engagement across the business so exceptional communication and presentation skills are essential.  Additionally, the ability to challenge the status quo will be an asset.

About You
You will have proven Project management skills and a minimum 10 years experience delivering infrastructure projects and business improvements. You will demonstrate a natural curiosity and eagerness to participate in the business with a positive, can-do attitude. You work well under pressure, are a strong and positive communicator, relish a challenge, are self-motivated and have a strong focus on achieving business value.

• Education Required:
  • Information technology or Business Degree preferred
• Experience / Background:
  • A strong record of delivering complex infrastructure projects:
    • On time
    • Within budget
    • Within scope
    • With quality
    • Within our risk appetite
  • Strong project management skills and knowledge of project management methodologies, including scope and budgetary management
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with proven ability to engage with people at all levels of the business
  • Proven ability to educate and influence the value of our projects
  • A strong record of working with infrastructure teams and strategic partners
  • An ability to challenge the status quo
  • An ability to inspire and lead teams towards continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing circumstances and encourage staff to be open to change
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues
