We are building an exciting set of modern new digital advertising products. Our goals are to test and learn and the team is set up as a ‘startup’ - expected to deploy often and learn quickly.

About the role...
The Leads Tribe is looking for a UI Developer/Mobile Developer to join one of the squads in our tribe. We're using JavaScript, React, AWS as well as Node. You'll be working on technical design and implementation and pair closely with other developers and designers in the tribe. We have an exciting roadmap ahead, with plenty of challenges!
What you will learn:

• React. You’ll already have modern web framework experience, but you’ll have the opportunity to more deeply practice React and learn from experts at REA.
• Mobile. Our suite of products will be running on Native iOS and Android so there will be plenty of opportunities for those who are mobile curious to get involved in Mobile Development
• AWS. All our developers create, support, and monitor infrastructure using Amazon Web Services. Ideally, you already experience with AWS or similar, and experience with modern deployment practices, but there's loads of internal support to grow your skills.
• Agile. REA is renowned for its agile approach. Teams are given the autonomy to come up with solutions independently in cross-functional teams.

What we expect:

• Demonstrated experience with web technologies (HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript)
• Strong knowledge of cross-browser and cross-device development
• The ability to optimise applications for both user and search engines while maintaining accessibility standards
• Passionate about testing with a keen eye for quality
• Someone who brings passion and pragmatism to technical discussions (we want to push the envelope in a practical way)
• Someone that finds performance tuning exhilarating
• Curiosity about front-end technology and current knowledge of the ever-changing technical landscape
• Experience with modern software development techniques such as test-driven development, micro-services and continuous delivery.
• Experience implementing and operating solutions that perform at scale.
• Experience with mobile development and AWS serverless computing is an advantage.
