This role is responsible for building, testing and deploying solutions so that data can be loaded into a data warehouse environment for reporting and analysis purposes. Along with delivering operation support to the rest of the organisation, specifically in the areas of deploying code to our AWS hosted web site, updating redirect files, and programming support to the external website development team.

• Experience in developing software using ASP.NET, .NET, C#, JavaScript technologies and SQL Server Design database schema, develop stored procedures, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages.
• Understanding of SDLC in order to improve existing software build, deployment and testing approaches and methods.
• Experience in administering and the use JIRA for logging issues, responding to tickets, customise the configuration to satisfy business needs.
• Administer and use GitHub public repositories for code changes and source of code for externally developed applications that need to be deployed to AWS or externally hosted servers.
• Solid experience and understanding of Build; Release concepts, practices, and procedures – both on-premises and cloud (AWS)
• Knowledge of server, network, storage, application or virtualization technologies.
• An understanding of Data Warehouse and or Business Intelligence reporting is an advantage, however, the client is willing to invest in training and career development.
• Troubleshooting applications built on ASP.NET, .NET, C#, JavaScript technologies and SQL Server.
• Extensive experience in Linux administration, usage, and bash scripting (Bash, Batch, PowerShell)
• Experience using or implementing code deployment tools to create and control infrastructure as code
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
