Our Opportunity

OneSKY is a game-changer for Australia’s airspace. The project will unify Australian skies under a new, harmonised air traffic management system. This will enable a new level of safety and efficiency, while also reducing delays for the travelling public and providing opportunities to improve environmental outcomes. It will be the catalyst for better connectivity to underpin Australia’s sustainable growth into the future. OneSKY will transform Australia’ sky and we are proud to be partners in its delivery. As such, we are looking for a Security Compliance Analyst to be be embedded into the technical and engineering team to review their artefacts, and provide specialist advice and direction to ensure compliance to system security requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct security analysis of system and subsystem requirements, design, and implementation to ensure compliance to system security requirements
  • Provide advice to design compliance and analysis of alternatives
  • Review of engineering reports, specifications and design documents & architectures and solutions against established requirements
  • Develop documentation to enable the accreditation and certification of solutions.
  • Provide advice to Thales, Subcontractors, Air Services Australia and Defence on security related issues.
  • Attend and participate in internal and external technical reviews

About You

  • Degree qualifications in either: Engineering (computing and networking), IT; Systems Engineering, Cyber Forensics, Information Security or other related equivalent experience,
  • Relevant qualifications like IRAP, CISSP, CISM, SABSA, CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, GIAC, or similar
  • Intimate knowledge of Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) and Defence Security Manual (DSM).
  • Experience with System Engineering Process and Engineering life cycle.
  • Familiar with host based and network based security solutions and products and authoring/reviewing technical documentation.
  • Experience with frameworks such as ITIL, AUSDAF, TOGAF, eTOM

Special Requirements

  • Able to undertake occasional short term domestic and international travel in support of project and bid activities.
  • Hold or be eligible to obtain Australian security clearance to NV1 level.
  • Eligible to obtain authorisation to work with ITAR controlled equipment and technology
