A progressive sports wagering software company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their fast-growing business in Sydney. The company builds the leading predictive analytics for sports across Europe and Asia. The software allows the clients to understand and get more from their data, predict the market and industry trends.
  
As a part of the Data Engineering team, you will be developing applications and improving the delivery quality of a world-class analytic and trading systems. Working in an Agile environment you will be the go-to for testing metrics and processes in the team, advancing the quality of the code and software.
  
You will be an experienced software engineer with a strong knowledge of data-centric environment (data capturing and extraction, data transformation), ideally working with a number of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), testing tools and frameworks. Previous knowledge and understanding of cloud systems is a must (AWS or GCP).
  

What do you need to have:

• 5+years of developing applications (Java)
• 3+ years of working with Java testing tools and frameworks
• Superior knowledge and experience of database systems (SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• 2+ years in a data-centric environment
• Strong knowledge of cloud systems (AWS or GCP)
• Interest in sports.
