Job Role- Performance Test Lead

Location- Sydney

Job Summary:

      We are looking for a performance test lead who possess good knowledge and experience on performance testing methodologies with the ability to research, recommend and implement new testing strategy that significantly reduces the testing time. The ideal candidate is a highly self-motived team player, skilled in a broad set of testing skills, with a strong passion for delivering dynamic and intuitive solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, maintain and administer the performance testing tool - HP’s ALM/ LoadRunner and evaluate other open source tools to compliment the capabilities in a continuous integration model
• Design, develop, and execute performance test cases and scripts through analysis of product specifications and software requirements, as well as mentoring other test team members.
• Research, recommend and implement a technical testing strategy that significantly reduces the testing time while providing a clear assessment of the risk to the enterprise introduced by system updates.
• Validate and verify quality attributes of the system, such as scalability, reliability and resource usage, among other parameters.
• Ensure that activities are coordinated with all stakeholders according to schedule, while ensuring that testing activities are thoroughly documented in support of lifecycle system engineering activities
• Research and establish a methodology for tracking the actual transaction throughput in the test staging environment in order to design realistic automated performance test scenarios.
• Develop and deliver a Performance Test Plan for each performance testing effort.
• Conduct advanced application load testing and performance analysis to include research, design, and evaluation.
• Develop recommendations to improve system performance based on analysis findings

Mandatory Skills :

 HP’s ALM/ LoadRunner

Preferred Qualifications 

1. At least 5+ years of experience in HP ALM Perf center/HP LoadRunner and experience in HP LR 12 is an added advantage
2. At least 5-9 years of Performance testing + Java development experience.
