Quality Engineering Manager

CRITICAL EXPERIENCES
Describe 3 experiences that the candidates, must have in their past employment history:
- 10+ years of relevant software development, solution architecture and/or quality engineering experience, test delivery experience in multiple environments.
- 10+ years delivery management experience with evidence of strong business acumen and leading delivery of $10m+ change p.a.
- People leadership experience of large teams - Excellent leadership and organisational skills to simultaneously direct, inspire coach, and lead multiple Quality teams in a dynamically changing environment.
- Strong technical experience/acumen (associated to or direct delivery experience).
- Evidence of strong commercial acumen and experience in managing third party suppliers in negotiation, establishment and management of contracts, and to outcomes.
QUALIFICATION
Any Tertiary and other professional qualifications required:
- Software/Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Programming or related tertiary qualification is advantageous.
Skills:
- Resilience and versatility in dealing with varying levels of organisational maturity.
- Track record and ability in delivery and delivering quality outcomes.
- Building strong relationships with the ability to influence key decision making.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills,
- Teamwork, collaboration & communication.
- Solid judgment, reasoning and decision-making abilities.
Experience:
- Experience in Strategic development and implementation of quality engineering solutions.
- Experience in Software Engineering.
- Experience in Quality Engineering tools.
- Experience with CI/CD, TDD, BDD
- Experience in Agile Methods.
