We are a leading provider of Automation and Control solutions for all mobile equipment in the mining industry and have an extensive range of solutions spanning five sub-brands, all of which deliver our clients increased productivity, profitability and safety.
From a business systems perspective, RCT intends to be at the forefront of ERP and ECM best practices. We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, open-minded and system savvy person to work with our Systems Accountant to drive continuous service improvements.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide functional and technical support across a suite of software that includes Pronto ERP, Qlikview and Cognos BI tools, OnBase document and workflow management systems etc.
- Participates in the design, programming, testing and implementation of new applications and changes
- Gather requirements from end-users and write scripts to improve workflow process in document management system
- Investigate and analyse issues to develop functional solutions
- Assist with administration, monitoring and maintenance of software
- Provide instructions and training to staff where required
Skills
- Proficient in programming/scripting knowledge - C#, 4GL, JavaScript, XML, HTML and CSS
- General working knowledge of databases – Informix, SQL, MySQL
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and effective communication skills
- Ability to multi-task with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a team environment or individually and a self-starter
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or similar field
- 2 or more years’ experience in the relevant applications/programme languages preferred
