About the Role
We are looking for a professional, motivated individual to join the dynamic Eric insurance Information Technology department as a Quality Assurance & Tester on a Full Time basis. This role is to assist the business in increasing quality & performance around product designs by:
- Conduct end to end system testing for web based and thick client applications and API's.
- Enhance existing and develop new project Test Strategies and Plans as appropriate, and effectively apply testing techniques to improve quality of releases and deliverables.
- Ensure effective communication and management of test progress, issues and risks and develop solutions for defect management.
About You
The successful individual will have:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Senior Test Analyst/Test Lead;
- Working autonomously to set up test plans and end to end automation and testing.
- Extensive experience in automated and manual testing in a variety of project environments (waterfall, agile, etc.).
- Extensive automation and manual testing experience to complete system, integration, regression and user acceptance testing.
- Defect management, reporting experience, facilitation, analytical, communication and documentation skills.
- Highly motivated and able to work autonomously and flexibly on a range of allocated tasks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Strong analytic and problem solving skills and able to 'think out of the box' to develop innovative solutions.
- Good interpersonal skills and able to work as part of a broader development and project team.
- IT Degree or relevant qualifications.
- Experience in Jira and Confluence an advantage.
- Experience with version control and continuous integration systems
- Knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft .NET technology stack (desirable)
