An exciting opportunity for a Senior Application Support Engineer to work for a highly regarded global organisation in the financial services industry. You will be responsible for supporting the core application platforms by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. You are expected to be confident in Windows Server 2012/16, PowerShell/Python scripts and have a solid understanding of SQL.
To make sparks fly you will have:
- 4 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong experience working in a Windows Environment
- Strong experience in Python, XML, PowerShell and SQL
- Ability to write SQL queries
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology and/or Finance (Must have a distinction average or above)
- Industry certifications are highly regarded i.e. MCSA, ITIL, SQL
- Strong communication skills
