An amazing opportunity to work for a federal government client has become available in Adelaide.  Multiple opportunities will be available to support ongoing work until 2021.  This opportunity will be an initial 6 month contract, but further extensions will likely be available.

Your day to day tasks will include:

• Undertaking methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation of all or part of a business in terms of business functions and processes, the information used and the data on which the information is based;
• Taking responsibility for investigative work to determine business requirements and specify effective business processes, through improvements in information systems, information management, practices, procedures and organisation change;
• Applying the use of modelling and analysis tools, methods and standards, giving special consideration to business perspectives;
• Developing Business Analysis artefacts that capture business needs and traceability to change;
• Undertaking the functions to devise business analysis artefacts that align to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) and other industry standard

To be suitable for this role, then you will need the following skills

• The Business Analyst is to be highly accomplished in applying appropriate techniques, resources and modern tools to complex analysis activities.
• Must show proven experience understanding the functions and role of a Business Analyst, including a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst.
• Demonstrated knowledge in applying Agile practices,  such as scrum and Kanban, in a pragmatic manner in a government setting.
• Highly refined communication skills – written and oral
• Ability to act as an interface between the business and technical resources.
• Other nice to have experience will be using the following tools: Jira, Jira Portfolio and Sparx EA
