This IT vendor has been a Gartner leader across a broad range of analytics products for many years, despite a significantly changed technology landscape since the company was conceived.
As they continue to offer innovative BI solutions to a growing number of customers, they are seeking a vibrant Account Executive to manage an enviable portfolio of customers vertically aligned to the FSI sector.
Role function
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Developing sales opportunities across a broad product suite with new and existing enterprise customers
- Credibly liaising with both business and technical stakeholders to effectively sell the ‘future state’ to clients
- Working strategically to ensure efforts appropriately channelled into high-value activities
- Acting as a trusted advisor to your portfolio, Influencing retention and expansion of existing accounts
Role Requirements
You’ll need to possess the following skills/experience:
- You’re a ‘hunter’ with a track record of successfully selling software solutions to mid-market/enterprise customers (3+ years)
- You have a knack for building strong relationships, which allows you to uncover the hidden needs of your clients
- You can think outside the square, and take a creative approach to landing, expanding and retaining customer accounts
- You’re known for your ability to learn quickly
- You may have experience in selling to banks, superannuation or insurance clients, or experience in selling analytics
