- Cisco ACI Engineer
- 6 Month Contract (high possibility of extension).
Our client, is a global ICT Vendor, who requires the services of an experienced Network ACI Engineer to join their team delivering top quality network engineer's consulting to their clients in design and implementation around Cisco ACI products.
This position is based in Sydney.
This is paying a day rate between $550 - $728.00 per day inclusive of Super.
Role responsibilities:
- Perform upgrades of both new and existing hardware and software as required.
- Work with Nexus 9 platforms and actively participate in the best practice design and deployment of data centre networks.
- Perform ACI Deployments and integrate service appliances - Application delivery controllers and firewalls.
- Migrations to Cisco ACI.
- Actively perform installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting tasks as required.
- HLD and LLD activities.
- System monitoring as required - BAU Daily.
- Perform test plans, implementation plans according to customer/industry standards.
Required experience:
- Project Design experience with ACI Multi-Pod Solution design.
- Project experience creating application policies in the ACI including tenants,. ANP, EPG, contract etc.
- Experience designing on Nexus platforms.
- Project experience with ACI Multi-Pod, Stretched Layer-2
- Demonstrated experience working on fabric discovery activity including working with Nexus 9 platforms and actively participate in the best practice design and deployment of data centre networks.
- Experience working with APIC SDN controller architecture.
- Previous experience working on Fabric Access Policy and Fabric Discover Activity to create; switch and interface policies, physical and external domains and to verify the APIC and Leaf Health.
