This role is for an OES Migration Engineer in a State-Wide Infrastructure Services Program responsible to deliver technical migrations to state wide systems with one of Sydney's largest Government organisations
Experience/Qualifications
Essential:
• Comprehensive experience in Novell technologies, especially supporting and troubleshooting SLES Linux running OES and eDirectory
• Experience in large corporate multi-vendor environments
• Experience with Microsoft server products – Active Directory
• 10+ years’ relevant industry experience within a large complex Directory Infrastructure environment.
• Must have good analytical, communication and documentation skills.
Desirable:
• LDAP experience
• Microsoft CIFS file shares include ABE.
• Active Directory, including authentication and GPOs.
• Scripting ability an advantage (PHP, PowerShell).
• Identity Management with multiple vendor connected systems.
Non-Technical Competencies:
• Ability to manage workload & operational responsibilities is essential.
• Ability to work well in a team, excellent verbal and written communication skills, proactive and reactive.
• Energetic and enthusiastic. This is a critical part of the role as it will involve differing levels of work, and fluctuating volumes.
• Available to work within the operational hours of 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday, and occasionally when requested after hours.
