Our Client, a mid-sized service driven Federal Government Department, is seeking an experienced ICT Asset Manager for a long 14 + 21 month contract, located in Tuggeranong, Canberra.
The primary duties of the ICT Asset Manager will include but not be limited to:
- The ordering and distribution through our outsource provider desktop computing, desktop peripherals, mobile phones and tablets to the business;
- Ensuring the appropriate registration of new assets and asset movements, including asset stocktakes;
- Asset refresh and upgrade projects including role outs of ICT operating systems across the agencies existing desktop and mobile devices;
- Providing advice on ICT asset management, and as required escalating complex issues to the ICT Business Manager.
- Create documentation of ICT asset management processes that are consistent with industry best practice and consistent with formal ICT Management Frameworks such as ITIL;
- Draft task cards, divisional communications, briefing papers and other corporate documents as they relate to ICT asset management;
To be considered for this long 14 + 21 month ICT Asset Manager contract, you will have:
- Prior experience undertaking ICT asset management functions in complex geographic diverse organisations;
- A highly organised, methodical nature and have a high attention to detail whilst ensuring deadlines are achieved;
- Previous experience working as part of a cross-agency team spanning geographic locations;
- Understand the importance of appropriate ICT asset management practices.
