What we need:
 
We are searching for a Network and Security Engineer to design, build and support the network and security requirements for a cloud environment on which the company's exceptional growth can be based.
 
This role will involve:

• Demonstrating hands-on technical depth for complex network and security design for cloud and infrastructure implementation, including operational troubleshooting.
  
• Utilising your deep knowledge of Cloud (AWS and Azure) and on-premise infrastructure networking, virtual networking, firewalls, load balancers and routers across data networks, WANS, LANS, VPNs, WIFI and Voice networks and internet services for desktop, servers and SaaS applications
  
• AWS and Azure network design and security and multi-layered network security
• Working with cross functional teams, key stakeholders and business partners
• The design, build, maintenance, documentation and automation of network monitoring and operations
• Monitoring network performance, troubleshooting errors/debugging, optimizing costs
• Implementing and maintaining an end to end cloud security program for Cloud Infrastructure on Azure /AWS.
• Managing and modernising the cloud & security operations
• Producing short form network designs to facilitate the migration and integration of applications to the Azure environment

 So if you have:

• Minimum 5 years’ in a senior role designing and leading IT infrastructure network projects
• Degree qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field, combined with AWS or Azure certifications (preferable at Advanced level)
• Microsoft Windows Server and associated technologies
• Good knowledge of Global MPLS and Virtual networking
• Knowledge/experience applying security policies across desktops and servers including Azure, AWS and Office 365
• CCNA and networking certifications
• Experience using Solarwinds across a global network
• Although not required the following industry certification would be highly desirable: MCSE, CCNA (networking focused), Cisco, Fortitnet and Palo Alto, Brocade experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fluid, fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and communication skills able to articulate and describe technical solutions in a clear business context.
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
