Finch is a venture-backed fintech startup and was recently awarded 2018 Best Digital Wallet in Australia.

After launching our social payments platform in July last year, Finch is now on a mission to reimagine the consumer finance experience in Australia, one behaviour at a time.

Within a few short months, Finch already has thousands of Aussie customers and has plans to launch multiple new products and features over the coming year and beyond.

What we’re looking for...

Finch is seeking a talented Tech Lead to support the fast-paced development and delivery of the Finch product, conducting code reviews and providing direction to the existing mobile app development team.

The Tech Lead will be responsible for directing and managing our development team –  coordinating closely with the business, marketing and product teams when it comes to implementing new features and designing the plan for growth.

You will be excited about the opportunity to work with native technologies, Python/Django in particular with a mixture of native mobile apps (iOS + Swift).

 Requirements 

• Proven track record delivering production-grade applications

• A programmer by nature - must be able to write clean code

• Technically proficient with Python and the Django framework

• Comfortable with mobile apps and/or a willingness to learn

• Understanding of build processes and environments (docker)
