At QUT we are on an exciting transformation journey to modernise our delivery of IT Services. As part of this transformation we are investing in the Information Security function to support our innovative technology strategy. 

We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join our team where you will influence key business stakeholders to help them understand their Information Security Risks and design appropriate controls.

In return, you will be working in an exciting environment that will provide exposure to a broad threat landscape that you are unlikely to encounter elsewhere. You will need to be able articulate complex technical concepts into business language and you should have be experienced with contemporary security tools such as firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Vulnerability Scanners, and Security Incident and Event Management Systems. Experience in Cyber Incident Response will also be highly regarded.
