Automation Quality Engineer 

• 6 Month Contract, extending to 12 months
• Work on pre-existing API automation
• 100% back end

My client is working on the biggest implementation of blockchain technology in the southern hemisphere. They are requiring someone who can think outside of the box and really understands how to work on the API layers in terms of automation and functional testing.

Strong Java OOP is a must have. This is going to be a really exciting project to be apart of, and will add a lot of value to any successful candidate's CV.

Required Skills:

• Rest API, Rest Assured, Restful services
• Java, Core Java OOP 
• SQL
• BDD - Cucumber or Serenity
• CI/CD
• Agile experience
• API automation, Selenium
• Testing of complex backend systems
• Strong communications

Beneficial Skills:

• Experience in a Developer role (OOP programming)
• Experience working on financial systems, (back end)
