Our client, a very large, Federal Government Organisation, is Seeking the experience of a User Research Design Facilitator (UX, UI, UCD) for a 5 + 6 month contract located in the Canberra City.
The primary duties of the User Research Design Facilitator (UX, UI, UCD)will include but not be limited to:
- Plan and undertake user research activities including:
o user interviews
o research analysis
o usability testing, and
o insight reports. - Apply best practice User Interface Design and User Centred Design principals;
- Support and mature UX capability and processes;
- Develop and maintain wireframes, prototypes, design specifications, personas, service blueprints and journey maps.
To be considered for this User Research Design Facilitator (UX, UI, UCD) contract opportunity you must have:
- A recent police check;
- Demonstrated experience planning and undertaking user research activities;
- Demonstrated experience designing and applying UI patterns to digital products;
- Strong understanding of information architecture, web usability, and accessibility;
- Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively including presenting user research inights;
- Demonstrated skills in planning and prioritising tasks working under pressure to tight deadlines;
- Skills in visual design software programs, such as Axure and Adobe applications (desired);
- Experience applying user experience principles and practices including design thinking, heuristics, and requirements gathering (desired);
- Experience supporting and maturing UX capability and processes (desired);
- Knowledge of the Digital Transformation Agency’s (DTA) ‘Digital Service Standard’ (desired).
