Reporting to the Group Manager Retail IT, this key leadership position will be responsible for leading and managing Retail IT Operations for mission critical applications and services. A key contributor to broader Retail IT strategic agenda, this role is accountable and responsible for delivery of Retail IT Operations that are fit for purpose for our business and customers, reliable and responsive, affordable and commercially sound, with focus on continuous improvement.
Leading Origin's Retail IT Operation, this role's focus is to work with several Service providers to ensure that IT services are delivered effectively and efficiently. The Retail IT Operations services include SAP CRM, IS/U & Market Data Hub (MDH) Gateway Services.
Key accountabilities will include:
• Manage Retail IT operations delivery in accordance with the agreed Service Catalogue and Service Level Agreements (SLAs); recommend and implement enhancements to the Service Catalogue on as required basis;
• Maintain the health of in scope services across the support lifecycle, including the quality assurance and integration of additional capabilities arising from enhancement projects
• Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to minimise the business impact of service instability, application defects, periods of reduced application availability, or other application performance issues
• Work closely with the Applications Service Delivery Manager across all ITIL service operations processes; develop, deliver and maintain a broad communication plan covering all aspects operational service including reporting performance against SLAs and agreed metrics
• Lead and manage multiple service providers through delivery of BAU IT Operations, ensuring commercial agreements are fit for purpose and represent 'win / win' for both Origin and the Service provider
• Proactively identify opportunities to reduce costs or improve reliability of applications and services; actively manage an annual budget of ~$20M, across multiple service and product providers
• Understand business operations and relate IT operations and impact to customer and business outcomes
• Actively participate and effectively contribute to the general management of Origin IT Service Delivery, including HSE, process improvement, audit, financial management, reporting, resourcing, performance management and engagement
